Afterthoughts
- I know the title sounds funny "baked fries". Originally, the plan was to make yam fries. Then right after slicing them I saw a post of Health Foodie, and decided to bake them to save some calories.
- Color-wise, would be a good dish for Halloween.

- For some reason, I thought that yams had less calories than potatoes, but .. I was wrong :-(. Well, actually good for me, cause I like potatoes better :-).

What a beautiful picture! Thank you so much for mentioning me! That is so nice of you!
I love potatoes. People tend to blame them for weight gain, unnecessarily so.
Thanks again!
Thanks for the friend add!
These look delicious. I'm such a sucker for purple-skinned sweet potatoes, I eat them ~all~ the time.
Don't worry about calories, just focus on what's fresh, pure and good for you!
Oh what a great plating! I love baked sweet potatoes.. they are so healthy and delicious.
It sounds really too good, and I also love their colors! I've fried them but never thought about roasting. I'll definitely try this!
Your yam fries look fabulous. What a great healthy alternative to traditional french fried. I love the color mix of orange and purple. :-)
I love these. I make them with sweet potatoes, but the colors in your dish are just fantastic!
