Afterthoughts
- I know the title sounds funny "baked fries". Originally, the plan was to make yam fries. Then right after slicing them I saw a post of Health Foodie, and decided to bake them to save some calories.
- Color-wise, would be a good dish for Halloween.

- For some reason, I thought that yams had less calories than potatoes, but .. I was wrong :-(. Well, actually good for me, cause I like potatoes better :-).
What a beautiful picture! Thank you so much for mentioning me! That is so nice of you!
ReplyDeleteI love potatoes. People tend to blame them for weight gain, unnecessarily so.
Thanks again!
Thanks for the friend add!
ReplyDeleteThese look delicious. I'm such a sucker for purple-skinned sweet potatoes, I eat them ~all~ the time.
Don't worry about calories, just focus on what's fresh, pure and good for you!
Oh what a great plating! I love baked sweet potatoes.. they are so healthy and delicious.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds really too good, and I also love their colors! I've fried them but never thought about roasting. I'll definitely try this!
ReplyDeleteYour yam fries look fabulous. What a great healthy alternative to traditional french fried. I love the color mix of orange and purple. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love these. I make them with sweet potatoes, but the colors in your dish are just fantastic!
